India Ramey | The Marinade Episode 217

India Ramey is a singer and songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee, whose latest record Villain Era is a middle finger to the musical status quo told through the sonic lens of a spaghetti western. She told her producer Eric Corne she wanted the album to sound like Johnny Cash and Loretta Lynn had risen from the grave to score a Quentin Tarantino film. Yeah, I know. Incredibly cool concept and they knocked it out of the park. If you haven’t listened, give Villain Era a spin as soon as you finish this conversation.
