The band’s unique brand of country music has taken them to the Ryman stage, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and in front of growing crowds. Rolling Stone has described Gibson as possessing a chill-inducing howl that’s not far off from Chris Stapleton’s! Y’all, the opportunities and hype are well deserved. This band is for real. 49 Winchester’s latest record is called Fortune Favors the Bold and you will no doubt find it on plenty of 2022 year-end lists for very good reason.
We caught up with Isaac via Zoom while he was off the road and back home in Virginia.
