This is Jason’s Journal coming at you live from Bonnaroo 2025! Y’all, I want to start by thanking everyone who has listened to the show and spread the word about The Marinade over the years. We are coming up on eight years of episodes this fall and the opportunities keep coming. This is our third year in a row covering the festival. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Unfortunately, the weather forced Bonnaroo to shut down after just a day and some change. In the meantime, we had a blast.
The Marinade's third annual Grounded Summer Tour rolls on! I am on a road trip from Orlando, FL, to Bonnaroo in Manchester, TN, and beyond. The goal of these trips is to unwind, meet cool people, take in some great art, and reflect on life. On this episode I tell tales from going home to visit my family, embarking on an Allman Brothers pilgrimage, and spending some time not watching the clock.
